The MURB™ Wind Turbine

The Murb™ is a portable clean energy, cost efficient solution that can be used in rural or isolated areas, resulting in a considerable/impactful reduction in reliance of fossil fuel solutions such as diesel generators, as well as expanding to Communications, Telecoms, Heating and other energy types. The Murb™ is an all round versatile design with many possibilities

The MURB™Overview

It will complement other renewable technology applications such as solar panels and seek to provide solutions to their limitations.

The Murb™ features a novel and patented automatic gearbox, which enables high performance and an extended operating range in fluctuating wind conditions typical of inland areas, where it is noted that other wind turbines cannot function. The result is high utilisation and total energy output.

Technical Specifications

From inner city construction sites to remote telecommunication out-posts, the levelized cost of energy of the Murb™ is an attractive alternative to conventional sources.

Unique Selling Points

The Murb’s primary capability is that it is efficient and viable in turbulent and fluctuating wind conditions, typically found onshore. All thanks to the novel and patented gearbox design, and blade assembly. It is also low noise, easily deployable, rugged and durable.

  • 10 – 30 kw hours /day
  • 1.3 tonnes of carbon displaced per year
  • Levelised Cost of Energy £0.50/kwhour

Performance

The Murb is produced bespoke to our clients user and system requirements. Function always drives form, whereby the details such as energy output, handling and operability, safety, durability, viability and environmental benefit are defined at project inception.

Data

The Murb has completed two duration tests to BS EN 61400 for Small Wind Turbines , providing data that has informed comprehensive analyses, to verify and validate performance, reliability and viability.
