Project Brief and Investigation

We begin by clarifying and understanding your user and system requirements prior to design work beginning. Our proposed solution is then presented for review. We believe function should drive form.

Conceptual Design

Drawing from our existing technologies, and expertise in innovation, we devise something new and focused to your requirements. You are involved from the start, where your feedback is noted and implemented in a sequence of design reviews.

Design Optimisation and Detailing

Once all key stakeholders are satisfied the design concept meets all requirements, we progress to detailed design. Here we employ our engineering analysis capabilities, along with design for manufacture expertise to ensure a sustainable and valued energy solution.

Production

We manage all stages of the production process through to delivery, utilising a solid supply chain that is equipped with the latest manufacturing capabilities. We welcome visits to see the wind turbine being built.

Training and Product Acceptance

On delivery, we guide you through how to use the wind turbine effectively , referencing an Operations and Maintenance Manual. Then begins a sequence of tests to confirm performance in the real world. All tests are completed to BS EN 61400-2 : Small Wind Turbines.

Through Life Support

Our support does not stop when we ‘hand over the keys’ to the wind turbine. We will be with you through the design life, to ensure maintenance and repair programs are followed, and that you ultimately enjoy a valuable product that fulfils your energy requirements.
